Excuse me, but just allow me to say,
GAH.
My birthday is this coming Sunday! I keep hearing how I need to have a big blow out why-is-there-a-deer-in-the-tub-and-superman-on-the-couch party but I think I'll just do what I usually do - Road trip to Washington DC to march in the March for Life and save some babies!
I've learned a lot while seventeen. I figured I should go ahead and list for you...
1. Boys are only as important as you let them be.
2. Real friends are honest, have fights, don't keep it in, and make up after. But not like a "you're a horrible person" kind of fight. Staying rational and mature will always keep the sisterfriendship alive.
3. Break ups (even if it's not yours) will always have you craving Ben and Jerrys and Pringles.
4. If you can't feel your face, you should probably stay away from the phone and with the sober friend.
5. Mama Baer will always take me shoppin' when I'm feeling down. My two closets and my dresser are overflowing thanks to our "little pick me up"s.
6. Prince Charming doesn't exist.
